Creator Agreement

A pre-launch outline for creators and collection operators who publish a Collection, Drop, or city presence.

Draft — not yet effective.

This text is a product-facing outline only. Mintropolis’ owner and qualified legal counsel must review, complete, and approve it before public launch.

Status of this page

This is a pre-launch creator-agreement draft. A creator must not rely on it as a binding agreement. The operator and qualified counsel must approve final commercial, intellectual-property, moderation, consumer-protection, tax, and jurisdiction terms before creator onboarding is opened.

Authority to publish

A creator or collection operator should only submit a collection, Drop, city residency, artwork reference, link, or community route when they have the authority to do so. Mintropolis may require a wallet-based proof, operator authorization, or manual review before granting a publishing capability.

A city steward role alone should not be treated as authority over an unrelated collection. Ownership and operator relationships must be rechecked when a protected action is submitted or reviewed.

Creator responsibilities

Creators are expected to keep published information accurate, clearly distinguish official destinations from discovery links, and promptly correct or unpublish unsafe, misleading, or unauthorized content.

  • Only publish content, names, marks, metadata, images, and links you have the right to use.
  • Do not represent a Drop as officially live, approved, sold out, or guaranteed unless the applicable source and on-chain evidence support that status.
  • Do not use a Drop, quest, profile, or residency to promise financial returns, hide material conditions, or manipulate participation.
  • Keep external community tasks optional where required, transparent about their provider, and free of requests for secrets or wallet approvals.

Mint and marketplace boundaries

Mintropolis is intended to link only to a source that the service has separately assessed as official and current. It should not execute a user’s mint transaction, hold a creator’s mint proceeds, or replace the canonical contract or mint site. A source mismatch, stale snapshot, or review requirement must close the official-mint call to action until it is resolved.

Removal and review

The final agreement should reserve an auditable process to pause, unpublish, correct, or remove content for safety, rights, accuracy, or legal reasons, with a proportionate appeal route where appropriate. It must not promise that published content will remain available indefinitely.

Wallet safety: Mintropolis should never ask for a recovery phrase, private key, or unlimited token approval. Stop and verify independently if a page, task, or external link asks for one.
