Mintropolis legal & safety

Report & Takedown Process

A pre-launch outline for reporting unsafe, misleading, rights-infringing, or otherwise harmful public content.

Draft — not yet effective.

This text is a product-facing outline only. Mintropolis’ owner and qualified legal counsel must review, complete, and approve it before public launch.

Status of this page

This is a pre-launch reporting and takedown draft. It does not replace a legally required notice process and does not publish a monitored legal contact. The operator must add staffed contact details, jurisdiction-specific notices, and response commitments after counsel review and before public launch.

How to flag a public page today

For a specific public city, Drop, or Passport profile, use the Report control shown on that page. It can record a safety reason and concise public context without requiring a wallet connection.

Do not include a seed phrase, private key, account recovery code, or any other secret. Reports should identify the relevant public URL or page and explain the concrete concern.

Useful report details

A future reviewed form should ask only for the minimum information needed to assess the request, such as:

  • The exact Mintropolis URL and the relevant external destination, if any.
  • The category of concern: phishing, impersonation, scam warning, harmful content, copyright, or another issue.
  • A concise factual explanation and, where appropriate, links to supporting public information.
  • For rights claims, the claimant’s authority, the work or mark at issue, a good-faith statement, and any jurisdiction-specific information required by counsel.

What a report can and cannot do

A report can prompt a human safety or rights review of the Mintropolis display and any linked publication controls. It does not itself change a blockchain transaction, reverse asset ownership, freeze a wallet, or decide a legal dispute.

The final process must set out acknowledgements, evidence handling, urgent-risk escalation, counter-notice or appeal handling when applicable, and what the operator can disclose to affected parties or authorities.

Wallet safety: Mintropolis should never ask for a recovery phrase, private key, or unlimited token approval. Stop and verify independently if a page, task, or external link asks for one.
